Jonathan Hollowell BA (Hons.) PGCE.

 

Hi, my name is Jon and I am a landscape artist and art teacher/tutor.  In my early years I spent four years at Art college in London and trained as an Art Teacher, also in London.  As you may have read in my statement at the beginning of my website, I am passionate about landscape and landscape painting.  This love of landscape painting began in my early teens on a visit to the National Gallery in London where I came into contact, for the first time, with the masters of the Dutch seventeenth century and of course Claude Lorrain, Constable and Turner.

I have exhibited my work at home here in the UK and abroad and I have work in private collections in Europe and the USA.

​

I teach an art class online on Saturday mornings, for two hours, to adults.  My classes are open to experienced artist and to absolute beginners.  If you would like to join my classes please don't hesitate contact me.  If you can't make a Saturday morning, I am more than happy to arrange another time.
